For examples, I got almost 10,000 dollars tax return in 2006, but I only got no more than 7,000 dollars in 2007. I earn almost the same income in both 2006 and 2007. Can I amend the tax return in 2007 now? Please give me some advises. Thank you for helping.

yes,it’s not too late to amend your 2007 tax return but why do you think you need to?
You have over two more years during which you can amend 2007 if it was completed incorrectly.
Just because you got less in 2007 doesn’t mean it is incorrect. Check it out carefully.
If there was a mistake on your return, yes you can amend it. But getting less back doesn’t mean there was a mistake.
Yes, you can amend it now. Make sure to file before April 15, 2011.
For amending your tax return, you must file IRS Form 1040-X with properly done nonresident tax return Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ and Form 8843. Column A is what was on the original return, Column C is what should have been there (that is corrected amounts) and Column B is the difference. Complete these columns and then refigure your tax.Read
It seems you want to add 3000 dollars to your ’07 tax return. If I read this correctly, why do you need to do this?
