Why do democrats want to tax corporations?
Posted by admin on Feb 25th, 2009Follow my logic
Company A – Makes a widget for $5 and sells it for $10 = $5 profit
If Company A has a $1 tax then it must sell its widget for $11 to maintain profit levels.
Therefore, the people who really pay corporate taxes are the consumers?
So following that logic why would Democrats want to tax corporations?
Life is not fair
Let a man keep what he earns and he will work hardern they any man that is given somthing for free
Supply Side economic succeed = See Reagan administration, this ecnonmic crisis was cause by expansion of federal powers and too much federal goverment involvement in the economy
If Fred’s theory on giving a man a million dollars were true. Then no one would own anything execpt the essiantials. Let a man earn a million dollars and he will work hard to earn another million. Give a man a dollar and he will become depandant on it and expect that he is owed that dollar every day

Supply side economics=FAIL.
For proof, see our economy.
It baffles the mind
Imagine NO taxes on corporations, only tax (with our current system) income.
Everyone would be working.. and paying taxes.
Tax cuts let you keep your money, they don’t want that.
They want to take your money, then give some back to you in the form of pet projects, so they can say. “See what we did for you.. Aren’t we great.”
You can either put the tax on the consumer or the firm. Theoretically it should work out all the same. The tax on the product does not always go directly into the price that is determined by tax incidence. Putting the tax on the consumer is supposed to give the corporation options to raise wages, increase employment and lead to further research and development. But as we have seen with this economic crisis putting the responsiblilty of having extra money doesnt always lead to employment and higher wages, greed takes over and the focus is on profits rather than the good.
There was one year when the secretary to the boss of GM paid more in taxes than GM did.
Democrats harbor this quaint old-fashioned notion of ‘fairness.”
We also think that consumer purchasing power is what keeps the economy going, and giving too much of the GDP to a few doesn’t work because they cannot consume that much. Give a million people $1 each to buy bread and you sell a million dollars’ worth. Give one man a million dollars, he spends $1 for bread and sends the other $999,999 to some offshore account.
If that’s too complex for you I can simplify it some more.
